From the recording A Very Flagshippy Christmas
Lyrics
Sally the Snowflake falls from the sky
Carried on the wind 8 miles high
Surrounded by her friends
She can't help but cry
She said "they all look like diamonds; I just feel like ice"
She said "who would wanna catch me on their nose?"
"Who would wanna hold me on their leaves?"
"Somewhere on the way down, I suppose no one is waiting for me"
Sally made of snow, on the wind she blows
Sally the Snowflake falls from the sky
Carried on the wind south of Staten Isle
Maybe she'll land on the window of Saks or Tiffany's
Or be the extra rock in somebody's whiskey
She said "who would wanna catch me on their nose?"
"Who would wanna hold me on their leaves?"
"Somewhere on the way down, I suppose no one is waiting for me"
Sally made of snow, on and on she goes
Sally the Snowflake was feeling mighty down
Until she landed gently on a young girl's wedding gown
It was the first snow of the season
They shouted down the street
Called her beautiful and lucky
Such a sight to see
She couldn't help but smile and melted happily
She said "all this time I thought I'd be alone"
"Being loved was something out of reach"
"All along I guess I should've known that someone was waiting for me"
So Sally made of snow
She found her way home
Sally the Snowflake falls from the sky
Keep on lookin' up and you'll see her passing by
